Goldman Sachs is being taken to task by Business Week's David Henry, who thinks Goldman Sachs ought to say a lot more about the case of Sergey Aleynikov, who has been charged with stealing some proprietary computer code that resides in some of Goldman's stock and commodities trading programs.

Goldman is not commenting, which frustrates Henry. "If indeed the security breach was not material, then Goldman should just say so, flatly and convincingly...By not saying anything, [Goldman] is leaving a fertile environment for speculation and hyperbole. Right or wrong, Goldman's name will probably soon be coming to the top in Google searches on international espionage, Russian conspiracies and computer security threats." Of course it is used to conspiracy theories.
